A BRITISH Airways pilot has claimed the company is riddled with racism.
Captain Doug Maughan, 53, of Dunblane, Perthshire, says complaints to BA chiefs have been ignored.
The senior pilot, who has worked for the airline for 15 years, plans to protest at the firm's AGM this year.
He said: "It's what I call a canteen culture. It seems to be accepted people will make racist remarks and get away with it.
"Racism is as prevalent now in BA as it was in the RAF 25 years ago."
He accused all-white flight crews of using racist language to describe black and Asian passengers.
He also said he has received abusive emails from English pilots because he is Scottish.
His attack comes days after Nigeria threatened a BA boycott over their treatment of passengers.
A BA spokesman said: "We encourage employees to report incidences of racism."
