We keep multi-coloured crayons handy to sort out scratches on timber furnishings or dings on accessories. Our chipped discounted statue bought from TK Maxx just last week looks perfect thanks to a little bit of crayon camouflage.
Get your teeth into this one - to remove coffee or tea stains from cups, fill with hot water and add a denture tablet. Leave overnight and scrub clean - your cups should now be as clean as your granny's pearly whites
Add a bit of colour and order to your home office with a range of photo boxes from The Holding Company. Just £8 will bag one of these stylish boxes available in brown, grey, white, red and orange. Buy them in different colours and brighten up your office. Visit www.theholdingcompany.co.uk
Here's a valuable bathroom tip that could save re-tiling - clean up grouting with a solution of one part bleach to four parts water and use an old toothbrush to scrub between tiles. The yellow stains should disappear and that grubby grout should dazzle once again.
Oily marks on a velvet sofa can be a nightmare to shift. We have the perfect solution to this problem. Just rub in a little talc then leave it to settle . Then hold a hairdryer over the stain and massage it with a soft toothbrush until the stain fades.
