Q I SUFFERED from migraines when I was younger and they have returned since I started taking the pill. What can I do?

A THE combined pill can increase and worsen the frequency of migraines and is not to be prescribed to those who suffer from frequent migraines or migraines with an aura. You should stop taking the pill if yours have come back and find an alternative method of contraception. Go back to your GP or your local family planning clinic to discuss safer options.
