Q I WAS having depo contraceptive injections until four months ago when I decided to try to get pregnant with my partner but my periods aren't back to normal yet. How long does it normally take and should I be worried?
A IT takes the average couple six to eight months to conceive. But if you have been on the depo it can take up to four months longer because the hormone balance takes time to correct itself. Keep trying and be patient.
