Q I USUALLY have the flu vaccine but with all the stuff on the news saying it is not effective I don't know if I should bother this year.
A THE study you refer to is very recent and claims the vaccine has no impact on the number of people dying from the flu virus. The advice at the moment is to ignore this study. Many flu experts don't agree with it and are strongly advising people to continue to get the vaccine. A single study cannot prove anything. Results need to be replicated several times before it can be accepted as fact so I'd advise you to go for your jab.
