Q MY 10-year-old son still occasionally wets the bed. I thought he'd have grown out of it by now.
A HAVE him checked out by your own GP, then you can start a course of Uva-ursi Complex. Take 10 drops in a little water three times daily. Also rub St. John's Wort Oil around the bladder and groin regions and between his legs every night.
Q I HAVE unsightly varicose veins and always wear trousers. I'm not prepared to have surgery. What can I do?
A Try taking Aesculus (horse chestnut), an anti-inflammatory which tones the blood vessels. Take 20 drops in a little water twice daily immediately after meals. Aesculus may interfere with anticoagulant therapy. Avoid if you are taking aspirin or warfarin.
Q MY nails keep splitting. Is this a sign of a deficiency?
A THIS is a tell-tale sign of calcium deficiency. Try taking three Urticalcin tablets twice daily allowing them to dissolve under the tongue. Continue for two months.
Q ARE there any natural alternatives to dealing with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? I've had surgery once and I'm not keen to go through it again
A TRY taking 30mg of zinc citrate and one tablet of B-100 Complex. daily. Continue both for three to six months.
Q I'VE been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and prescribed Colofac and Spasmonol. They help but is there a more natural option?
A CUT out all forms of pork and dairy produce, citrus fruits, white flour derivatives, tea, coffee, fizzy drinks and alcohol. Tormentil Complex is ideal for irregularity. Take 15 drops in a little water three times daily.
