1/2 tsp smoked or normal paprika
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 thick slice of bread
3 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper
Half an onion, finely sliced
2 tbsp cream cheese
Handful rocket leaves
METHOD:
Place the steak in a bowl with the paprika, half the garlic and one tablespoon of olive oil.
Leave to marinade for four to 24 hours.
Fry onion gently in a tablespoon of olive oil until soft then add a little salt and pepper.
Beat cream cheese with black pepper and remaining garlic.
Fry steak in the remaining oil until cooked to your liking and season with salt and pepper.
Toast bread then top with cheese, onions, steak and rocket and serve immediately.
This goes great with crisps or fries and a dollop of coleslaw.
