Throw a splash of brandy into a pan and allow to reduce. Add a tub of double cream.
Put in pepper - I used cracked black and whole pink peppercorns - and some gravy or a little beef stock cube. Simmer. Add pepper sauce to the beef at the end of the cooking before putting it on the toast.
